VEMO Co. – the predecessor of VEMO was founded.
The first production plant for herbal extracts was constructed in the city of Knezha in the virgin Bulgarian countryside.

Development of innovative phytogenic feed additives.
VemoHerb® BP (V-GroW) is a natural plant-based alternative to the AGP. Meanwhile, several innovative enzyme feed additives were developed and prepared for their market launch.
VemoHerb® dietary supplements. A new business unit was created – VemoHerb® dietary supplements based on herbal extracts produced by VEMO. In the following years these products attracted high interest on the domestic and international markets.
Registration of VemoZyme® and VemoHerb® feed additives
VEMO completed the registration of its main product series of feed additives. The following years witnessed huge local market interest in these products.
A new, bigger facility for raw material production was completed in the city of Knezha, North-West Bulgaria. Its capacity is about four times bigger than the initial one.
VemoZyme® Phytase launched on the market
A new very promising product of the VemoZyme® series was developed and launched on the market – VemoZyme® F (thermostable phytase enzyme). It gained huge popularity on the domestic and international markets in the years that followed.
