The mannanase enzyme in VemoZyme® M is skillfully designed for degrading mannan in feed ingredients and improving the utilization rate of nutrients for animals. VemoZyme® M is a powerful heat stable product that is highly efficient within a wide pH range of activity. It also contains a set of additional NSP-degrading enzymes – xylanase, ꞵ-glucanase, cellulase, ⍺-amylase, protease, ⍺-galactosidase, lipase, and pectinase.
VemoZyme® M improves the utilization of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates by degrading the mannan oligosaccharides present in the cell wall structure of feedstuffs. dsas
VemoZyme® M shows highly efficient activity in a wide pH range: 2.5-7.5.
There are mannan polymers found on the cell surface of pathogens, parasites, and viruses. Recognizing the mannose sugars as a potential threat, the innate immune system responds to it. Therefore, applying feed containing β-mannan provokes a costly innate immune system response.
VemoZyme® M neutralizes the anti-nutritional effects of mannan (a hemicellulose widely spread in plant materials used in feed). The mannanase enzyme in VemoZyme® M is specifically designed to degrade mannan in feed ingredients and improve the utilization rate of nutrients for animals.
VemoZyme® M is applied at 100 g/t for layers, broilers, piglets, and swine.
Figure 1. VemoZyme® M in poultry feed
The results from this study show that when the poultry feed is supplemented with VemoZyme® M, it helps with increasing BWG, significantly decreasing FCR and FI. It has a more significant effect on a low-energy diet.
Figure 2. VemoZyme® M in piglets feed
VemoZyme® M added to piglets’ feed notably reduced the diarrhea rate of piglets by 59.19% when added at a dose of 100 g/t feed and by 77.58% when added at a dose of 200 g/t feed. It also improved the growth performance.
